NOTICE OF MEETING

OF THE CITY OF HARTWELL RECREATION AUTHORITY

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the City of Hartwell Recreation Authority (the “Authority”) will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, beginning at 6:00 o’clock p.m., in the Second Floor Conference Room of the Hartwell City Hall, located at 456 East Howell Street, Hartwell, Georgia 30643, for the purpose of: (1) approving an agenda of the meeting; (2) approving minutes of past meetings, if any; (3) discussing and considering the approval of a proposed Assignment and Assumption of Sublease between Lake Hartwell Campground, LLC, Novelty Wood Group, LLC, and the Authority, by which the Authority will consent to and approve Lake Hartwell Campground, LLC’s assignment of two Subleases of certain property, formerly known as part of Hart State Park, to Novelty Wood Group, LLC; (4) discussing and considering the approval of a proposed Amendment to Subleases between the Authority and Novelty Wood Group, LLC, concerning certain amendments to the two Subleases that are being assigned by Lake Hartwell Campground, LLC to Novelty Wood Group, LLC; (5) discussing and considering the approval of other agreements (if any) related to such documents; (6) authorizing Authority representatives to determine final terms of such documents and to sign such documents; (7) scheduling of any subsequent meetings that the Authority wishes to conduct; and (8) discussing and conducting such other business as may properly come before the meeting.  Any members of the public wishing to attend should enter Hartwell City Hall by the main entrance into the Hartwell Police Department (located at the rear of City Hall).
